280 Living the Dream

The Charge by Brendan Burchard provides today’s Sunday takeaway.  The Charge describes three very different types of lives you can lead:

A Charged Life – A very different kind of life from the one most people lead.  It’s a life that has you feeling engaged, energetic and enthusiastic, something I’m sure we all want.

A Caged Life – A life spent living in the past or in the expectations of others.  A life where you rarely venture out into the unknown or break the boundaries that you or others have set for you.

A Comfortable Life – A life lived by many, where you have the car, house, family and job and feel very thankful for your life.  Yet at the same time there is a stirring of discontent, as you begin to question how did I get here?

Our daily decisions, the choices we make ultimately create the life we live.  So how can we consciously and consistently create a charged happy life.

Can we really live “the dream” or is it just “make believe”?

Food for thought.

Hi Anna! I like these sentiments – I’ve lived in all three conditions. I’ve broken out and changed a couple of times, and I’ve had five near-death experiences that got me charged!

As Winston Churchill said, “There’s nothing quite so exhilarating as being shot at and missed”!

I currently have to make my self charge from the somewhat caged outlook I acquired following a couple of seizures in November, would be nice to have your positive spirit to talk to about it. Thanks for your post though, hope you are having a whale of a time in China!

Hi Phil – Great to hear form you, not good to hear November didn’t go too well for you. We are definitely having a whale of a time over here, it’s a whole new world.
